The origin of the yo-yo is constantly under argument, but books and television programs that have been made show that it probably came from ancient Greece. It is however rumored that it was used as a lethal weapon for hunting game or other wild animals. Although the laws of physics may prove that the use of the yo-yo as a hunting tool to be ia bit useless, the concept of being able to retry a missed throw of an object was still an amazing feat.  

But people still believe it to be a weapon. Did you know that the yo-yo was actually first made by the Duncan yo-yo demonstrators back in the 1930s. Since then these apparent weapons have become more stylish and colourful , and the world of professional yoyoing  has taken off to become a worldwide sport
